Depends on how you want to get it
I got it on my war but I only did Dwarven Brawling. Warrior is best as they have strength and great armor (runes that does damage reduction).

If you want to do it the honest way I suggest going as Paragon. Use the Imbagon build http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:P/W_Imbagon
And make sure your heroes are runed and have nice weapons as you will be relying on them aswell. If you play through all of the 4 campaigns in both NM and HM you will have the title and also max guardian and protector.

Short answer: Any
Long answer: Any class you enjoy playing and know what you are supposed to be doing.

As stated, it's achievable with any profession, as all have their own offensive and defensive builds. You'll just want to favor a more defensive build if playing the normal way.

Hi!

Im trying to get survivor long time ago and today finally a i got it.I made an assassin/ranger and i explored a build for A/Mo to kill vaettirs. So i made it to naphui quarter alive and started to farm those things in hm.

So the whole thing took 11 hours and i made it in 4-5 days.

If you are planning on playing the game rather than farming... I would suggest a Ranger/Monk... rangers are usually the last to die in a lot of situations IMO. Good range with a long bow to avoid aggro and plenty of run/block skills.

I'm biased because I got LS with a ranger (but had to do kilroy's due to me been too impatient and getting killed on 6 versions).

If you wanna play the game and not farm the title like most have done, then it is whatever class you enjoy playing. You can go Mo/A or A/Mo or A/Me and farm vaettirs. From lvl 20 it is like 50 2xexp scrolls to Legendary survivor. Or you can go R/A and farm dragon moss outside SAS. Those are some ways I farmed LS on those chars.

If you're going for survivor, decide if you want GWAMM on that character or not. If you do, then you should really choose the class you enjoy playing most.

I'd say the ranger is the safest bet unless you're going to use a trick to get it. You can play from the back line letting you escape when things go sideways, you've got decent armor, and you've got a lot of skills that let you get out of trouble.

It's too bad you missed the double XP elite skill cap weekend. I got over 900,000 experience that weekend alone, letting me hit the title that I'd been slowly working on for about three months prior. Pretty expensive though for all the signets. Luckily I'd been saving up for a while.

Safest bet these days??? Ritualist by far. Pop out SoS, Vamp, Pain, Bloodsong, Shadowsong Summon Spirits, Painful Bond, Armor of Unfeeling or spirit siphon, flag heroes just behind spirits and pissbolt.

Anything works, you just have to play more defensively if you're really going to play instead of farm. My hubby did his on both Mesmer and assassin, playing through all 3 campaigns. Guilie did necro, and I did rit. If you're used to running in with guns blazing you won't make it very far ... helps to keep your guild window open so you can run away to the guild hall if things get messy, too.
